It is with great pleasure to announce Camille Passalacqua as the General Manager of the Tru by Hilton hotel in Georgetown, Delaware.
With over 20 years of managerial experience, Camille first started her hospitality career at a Hilton Garden Inn as a bartender and server. Through hard work and dedication, Camille worked her way up within the industry taking on other roles throughout the hotel, such as sales and marketing. Spending over seven years working within the sales department, she later moved up to the front of the house operations where she became a Front Office Manager.
In 2013, Camille Passalacqua took a position with Onix Hospitality in Sales and Marketing at the Hampton Inn in Neptune, NJ. She later decided to venture into the healthcare industry as a Housekeeping Manager for Healthcare Services for a little over three years.
When an opportunity arose back at the Hampton Inn Neptune, NJ, Camille didn’t hesitate to jump back in as AGM of the property. Since Camille has come back to Onix Hospitality, she has been working closely with the sales department, while training and holding down the from desk team.
Camille is a wonderful addition to the team, and we are all so excited to see her build and grow her future leaders!

Get ready to welcome another Hilton hotel to our family!
With opening just over 2 months away, we’re starting to count down the days. This “vibrant, affordable and young-at-heart” brand is our second Delaware hotel, located in Georgetown. We are looking forward to bringing something fresh and new to the area, as the personality of the Tru brand is unlike any hotel currently in their market. In fact, we’re the first ones bringing the Tru by Hilton Brand to the state of Delaware!
Georgetown is a quaint area with great shopping, dining, museums, and a local sports complex while offering great access to Delaware beaches without the chaos of a beach town. This 90-room, modern hotel features efficient guestrooms, bright bathrooms, and a workspace to get stuff done for those who are looking for a brand-new experience. For corporate guests, they will be offering Fast and Free WiFi, a business center and easy check-in with Digital Check-in and room access. Drumroll, please….it’s almost time to welcome a completely new Hotel Brand to the Onix Family!
The Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront will be owned and operated by Onix Group with Rehoboth-based restaurant company, Big Fish.
Slated to open in August 2019, the Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront is bound to be the place-to-stay this summer! With a coveted location in the urban area of the Wilmington Riverfront, the area is buzzing with activity and close to endless restaurants, shopping and more. The Over the years, the Riverfront has grown to be a hub of entertainment options to locals and visitors alike. Whether they’re taking in a game at the Wilmington Blue Rocks Stadium or a movie at the nearby IMAX Theater, entertainment will never be hard to find. For guests in Wilmington on business, the hotel will be located within walking distance to the Chase Convention Center and several major employers’ offices, including Barclay’s Bank, AAA Mid Atlantic Headquarters, Navient and Chase Bank.
The 114-room hotel has been designed and styled with a perfect mix of modern and comfort, meeting the needs of corporate and leisure guests alike. Their hot breakfast will be available daily, as will the handcrafted cocktails and freshly prepared sharables at the bar and lounge in the evenings. None of the amazing changes that Onix Hospitality has seen over the recent years would have been possible without, as they have been dubbed, the “Magnificent 6”.
Very soon, the “Magnificent 6” will have new additions and there will be a time of changing and redefining as the new members are welcomed. Though these changes are certain, we can also be certain that is was the foundation that was laid with the help of the “Magnificent 6” that paved the way.
